Dear Scott and Sheryl,
Really enjoying your podcasts (aka. audio- sound- guides). Just the right balance of tourist and guide to bring it all to life. As with radio, audio works fine as a medium, especially with the excellent photos. I've been to many of the places you've visited in the 70s and 80s, always on a really low budget, and I sit back with the headphones on and transport myself back. I really like your dialogue format that has been so effective from the start, and so cheerful and uplifting.
The first 14 (up to Strasbourg) are available in streaming audio on (podcast.net) but from your website some broadcasts stream but some have to be downloaded and I don't know why. Downloading is a slow process on my imac G3, with no itunes available. The videos don't download. I intend to buy a new PC with Vista so hope downloading via itunes etc works faster. I will certainly recommend your site when I get itunes up and running. Could you let us know how you go about the podcast and what equipment you recommend (as Father Roderick has with his "Catholic Insider" podcasts)? Many thanks. Looking forward to the next podcasts!

Hi Victor, thanks for listening. Your question about where we would live and why -- I think that is a great topic for Sheryl and I to chat about on our next podcast. Stay tuned!

Erik, thanks so much for listening and I'm glad you enjoyed this episode. It was fun to produce and I think the ambiance of the area was captured fairly well.

We were there in Summer and the whole siesta thing makes more sense when it is 104F outside. Sounds like you are continuing to have a great time. Have you been to the Museo de Jamon yet?
