Neutra 16 City Fiesta!

Podcast listeners will remember my “Logan’s Run” moment in front of the Pavilion of the Future on La Cartuja in Sevilla, Spain. One of my photos was featured in the recent issue of the review of the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Sevilla. Here are a couple photos of Neutra 16 and the original photo that was published.

A blatant plug for your vote

Wednesday, March 28th, 2007

I’ve submitted one of my photos for possible inclusion in JPG Magazine Issue 10. The photo is of The Pavilion of the Future on La Cartuja in Sevilla, Spain — one of my favorite subjects. I think it is a good fit for the the theme of the issue which is “entropy.”

If you agree that it is a good fit for the issue, I would appreciate your vote before April 11! Just click on the link below and you’ll be sent to JPG’s site where you can vote for the photo. You do have to sign-up for a free JPG account in order to vote, but they promise not to spam you.

Thanks for your help and thanks to everyone who has already voted!

Our chat with Ben and Marina

Saturday, March 17th, 2007

We were fortunate to meet up with Ben and Marina from the awesome Notes from Spain podcast and website. After a round of cervezas and a delicious lunch, we sat down with them in Parque del Buen Retiro to talk about our year, which was recorded for Notes from Spain Podcast 56. You can also read my submission to the “500 things to do in Spain” NFS Competition. Do you have a favorite thing to do while in Spain? Why not send it in to Notes from Spain? Thanks for sharing your time with us, Ben and Marina, and for sharing some of your favorite places in Madrid!
